It’s his understanding that the actual practice of yoga is not in the postures or movements themselves but in the way in which we consciously respond to the challenges that they represent.

He wishes for students to understand that yoga requires an intelligent and deliberate response.

This may require the yoga student to explore their comfort zones in order to connect deeper within .

He also feels fortunate in personally practicing regularly under Sharath Ramaswamy whilst under the directions of his grandfather the late Sri K Pattabhi Jois, additionally travelling overseas to learn with Manju Jois too. Having had a 2 year mentorship with John Scott, he furthered his quest for knowledge by practicing Atmavikasa Yogic Sciences with Yogacharya Venkatesha in Mysore India.

More recently, he studies Andiappan Yoga with Master Yogananth in Hong Kong and under the late Guruji Dr Asana Andiappan in Chennai, whom have had a tangible impact on his approach in Yoga.
