Soothe Your Heart Friday March 27 6:30 – 9pm
One of the greatest pieces of Forrest Yoga is the way that we learn to heal ourselves.
Our hearts take a lot of wear and tear, and keeping it healthy is crucial to our ability to grow and thrive. As it says in the Alchemist, “if you stop listening to your heart, it will stop talking to you.”
In this back bending workshop, we will explore accessible, all-levels, wrist-and-shoulder-friendly, soothing ways of opening your heart. It will change the way you feel about backbending. And, when you soothe your heart, it’s more likely to speak up.
Forrest Core Galore! Saturday March 28 11am – 1:30pm
It’s what Forrest Yoga has gained its fame–oh, those abs!
But, there’s so much more to Forrest core work.
Here in this backbending class we will cover all the ways that Forrest Yoga tackles building core strength and health continuously throughout a class: in addition to the abdominals, kriyas, bandhas, and “the roll.” You will leave feeling connected and clear in a new and refreshing way!
Hip Service Saturday March 28 2:30pm – 5pm
Sometimes your hips need a tune-up, like your car. In this “restorative” Forrest Yoga class we’ll take your hip joint through a vast range of motion to get them mobile, limber, and lubricated.
Gravity Surfing: An Advanced Forrest Yoga Workshop Sunday March 29 11am – 1:30pm
Gravity–we experience it every day without really realizing it. It pulls on our bodies, and anchors us to the ground. In this inversions and arm balance workshop, we’ll explore playing with gravity as a force to ride and play within, surfing with breath.
