Class Descriptions:

Structural Restoration Awareness 1 (CET)
Class level: All Levels, Some Partner work involved
3hrs

This class will help you guide how to bring optimal structural restoration with practice.  We will look and experience in poses how dominant muscles activation which can lead to muscle imbalance. Learn ways to use core tension release to open breaths passages to feel center of the body and experience the depth you can go in poses.  You will breathe deeper, increase joints range of motions, prevent injuries or discomfort in joints by bringing structure restoration in practice.  Focus will be in Spine, Pelvis and Legs

Core Connection
2 hrs

Learn to build functional core connection stronger by practicing ways to break down stages of muscle movements to be light to lift the body weight.  Learn to connect core to armpits, arms and hands.  We will learn to engage outer and inner muscles of arms and core to feel light in arm balances and some inversions.

Free Your Spine (Back Bends)
2 hrs

I designed this class to help practitioners overcome the fear of deep Back Bend practice.  Forrest Yoga Back Bend sequences are intelligent and pain freeing way. You will be guided to unlock tensions in specific spots in the core and build strength of the legs for freeing up stuck energy from the spine in back bend poses. Enjoy the freedom of deeper back bends by keeping space in the spine.

Hips and Inversions
2 hrs

We will learn to be light in balancing on hands by learning to connect muscles of armpits, Serratus Anterior and upper and lower abdominals will be introduced to build strength to gravity surfing.  We will look at relationship between Abs, Legs and Pelvis to help free up the hips plus how muscle activation of inversions helps free up the hips. Experience using high quality attention and deep breathing to enjoy the part you can do in practice.

Transforming Touch (Forrest Yoga Hands on Assist for Hips)
2hrs

This class is for learning Forrest Yoga assists for hip poses.  You will learn how to help students with different flexibility and different structures with hip poses.   Learn the anatomical relation between the bones of Pelvis, Spine, and legs in different hip poses ie; Bound pose, lunge, Cross Tied (Leg behind the head).
