4-Day Hands-On Assist Workshop with Forrest Yoga Guardian Sin Hee McCabe
Join Sin Hee McCabe for a 4 day, in-depth, hands-on-assist workshop. The truly masterful teachings of Sin Hee are not to be missed!
All four workshops will focus on being skillful in helping students and self to deepen your practice and breath connection. In the morning practice, you will utilise breath to more clearly experience what is actually happening in the body in each asana. Using the breath will allow you to be more open to what you can do, rather than limiting yourself by chasing perfection, and what we think is supposed to happen in our yoga practice. Being open to possibilities is exciting and pleasurable, bringing positive changes to your practice and your life.

Day by day:
Thursday Feb 8th 2018 9:30 am – 4:30 pm: Neck and Shoulders
Experience a classic Forrest Yoga tension release class. You will be guided to unlock habitual patterns in the neck and shoulders with breath and Forrest Yoga poses. We will explore the relationship between the spine and the neck, as well as the spine and the shoulders, in order to create the proper space for those joints to move without compression.
Friday Feb 9th 2018 9:30 am – 4:30 pm: Core Connection(Core work +Inversions)
In this tutorial inversion workshop, we will learn Forrest Yoga poses that build the strength needed in your serratus anterior and upper abdominal muscles in order to pike up lightly. We will also look at the connection between the lower abdominals, pelvis and legs that allows you to lift yourself up. We will approach our inversion practice many different ways, including some partner work.
Saturday Feb 10th 2018 9:30 am – 4:30 pm: Open to Possibilities(Backbends)
Use backbends to unlock the pleasure that comes from self-care. Forrest Yoga backbend sequencing warms up the core and lubricates the spine. You will move into backbends with more ease of breath and less tension as you open up your heart. This vibrant practice will help you experience the rejuvenation of your self.
Sunday Feb 11th 2018 9:30 am – 4:30 pm: Gate Opener (Hips)
In this workshop, you will learn about the relationship between the pelvis, abdominals and legs that will allow you to open your hips. Using Forrest Yoga Basics, you will move breath into your hips and soften your core, unlocking space in the hips. Through this process, we will open the gate to poses like Head to Ankle and Yogini Dandasana.
