Tracking Trauma Series in Berkeley
Thursday, 7PM to 9PM
October 8, 2015

In trauma recovery, it’s important to engage in practices that keep us in present time and help us develop an ability to feel and deal with our sensoral and emotional experiences. When we learn how to use mindfulness to relate to our trauma wiring, we can learn how to be more present and embodied.
This is a four class series – October 8, 15, 22, 29 7:30-9pm – no drop-ins available.
Each class will start with somatic psychology practices and psycho education about the experience of trauma. Then, we’ll move onto a Forrest Yoga inspired asana practice geared toward building the ability, at the pace you can tolerate, to feel and deal with your experience on the mat.
Prerequisites: Previous yoga experience required. Relationship with mental health professional strongly recommended.
