Saturday 27th January – Breath + Strength
This asana based workshop lays the foundation by exploring breath as a bridge between the conscious and unconscious and the aspect of strength as a way to feel more connected to the body. Forrest Yoga focuses on emotional processes and how we experience our body, emotions and energy from moment to moment. Ujjayi breath combined with an emphasis on strengthening the body is taught throughout this session to help you to be embodied and present.
Sunday 28th January – Spirit
Connecting to Spirit and calling the Spirit back into the body are at the heart of Forrest Yoga. The sense of interconnectedness, the feeling of life purpose and peace are signs that the Spirit is at home and embodied. This workshop explores through an intense backbend sequence what it means to embody Spirit.
