Pleasure is a responsibility and a choice. Practicing pleasure, from the Forrest Yoga perspective, is one of the most effective ways to create an internal environment that is resilient – one that helps you transform trauma and move forward on a spiritual path. In order to change our habits and our choices we need to be standing on a solid ground of full embodiment – this requires pleasure as a practice. In this workshop we spend the first 30 minutes explaining the way in which Forrest Yoga specifically teaches the embodiment and practice of pleasure followed by a full asana class (with a focus on backbending) designed to give students the opportunity to embody these principles.
Join Forrest Yoga Guardian Heidi Sormaz for these weekend workshops! Forrest Yoga Guardians are the highest level of Forrest Teachers in the world – hand picked and specially trained by Ana Forrest, the Guardians are charged with carrying on the legacy of Forrest Yoga, & training future Forrest Yoga Teachers.
