We keep on tracking what truly serves you to be confident, safe and held. Being in the body can be very challenging. Many times we need to actively re-learn how to feel sensations in the body, in order to occupy the body again. Having the willingness to stay present while sensing is a positive step, it is about paying attention, connecting and communicating, to your mind, body and spirit and learning what it needs to feel good. In this afternoon session we use partner work, writing and asana practice to gain mind-body-spirit coherence to have the ability to take care, love, and heal yourself.
Alexandra Sagorz-Zimmerl is a Forrest Yoga Guardian-in-Training based in Vienna, Austria. She has been teaching compassionately at her studio in Vienna for more than 10 years and also runs workshops and offers yoga retreats both in Austria and abroad. Also, she assisted Ana Forrest in Workshops and recently the Foundation Teacher Training in Berlin.
Besides her various studies in human energetics to broaden her expertise, she is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2016. This method is a body-oriented approach to the resolving of trauma & other stress disorders.Her intention is to give her students the best possible experience in class, means finding balance between challenging them and keeping them safe, finding their own potential. Her teaching is a magical and grounding experience and right on the spot. You can expect clear and precise directions and wonderful hands-on-assists, to feel more aligned and more at home in the body.
