The Winter Solstice is a fascinating earth-changing time where the air cools and the winds sweep through, inviting us to go inside into the warmth of the hearth and home. We may feel called to snuggle in and rest more into dreamtime, visioning and meditation, recuperating from the busyness of the past year and gathering our resources for the coming one. This is a great time to go to “The Looks Within Place” and get your visions so you can continue to create the masterpiece that is your life.
Join Kiki and special guests from our community for one hour of Forrest Yoga Ceremony, including a cedar water blessing, Calling in the Four Directions prayer, sacred chants and meditation time. Then we’ll move through a strengthening and restorative 2-hour Forrest Yoga class with a focus on bringing ease and comfort to the Hips, Spine, Neck and Shoulders. We’ll finish with a luxurious sequence of seated and lying down poses and a long Savasana to downregulate the nervous system.
Pre-requisites: Ability to work in a heated room, and move through Sun Salutations.
Cost: $55; part of the proceeds of this event will be donated to Sacred Stone Camp, the water, land and life protectors of North Dakota who are currently protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
