This Fall, escape for a close to home weekend getaway with Forrest Yoga teacher, Gregory Jamiel! We will spend the weekend connecting with nature in a deep and powerful way. Our Forrest Yoga practice incorporates many healing ceremonies and traditions of Native Amercian culture. On this retreat, we will experience a combination of these traditions within our yoga practice such as working with the Four Directions. By working with the Four Directions and their associated elements, we are able to more readably focus, comprehend, and connect with specific areas in our lives.

Over the weekend we will enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and relaxing! We will tap into our artistic expression and create talking sticks from elements we find in nature. Drumming is another powerful way to connect with nature, and on this retreat everyone will be provided a hand drum with which to play. Each of these drums are handmade from an animal hide and when you play them, you feel the energy of those animals come back to life with the beat of the drum matching the beat of your heart opening the doors for an inspiring journey within.
This retreat is limited to a small intimate gathering which provides you a chance to go deeper within yourself, fine tune your yoga practice, and grow friendships with our other members. Join us as we celebrate our yoga practice, connect with nature, and invigorate our minds and bodies!
