Sat am: Getting more bend in your back bends
Asana session based on Forrest Yoga Inspired and biomechanics of the spine and ribs.
Sat pm: Bodywork Immersion
Pain that is trapped in the back is caused by a a very wide range of possibilities, but many of the symptoms are the same. This workshop trains practitioners how to use short sequences and hands on skills to offer relief to the most common back complaints. You are welcome to join us, especially if you have back pain as it is intended to explore as many self-regulating techniques that can be done to ourselves and well as shared with others.
Sun am: Juggling the act of the hips
Asana session based on Forrest Yoga Inspired and biomechanics of the hips.
Sun pm: Bodywork Immersion
Learn how to assess and address the key muscle groups in the hips and legs to promote better recovery, improves flexibility and techniques to build a better relationship with yoga poses that require open and strong hips. This workshop will also offer methods to self-regulate that can be done to ourselves as well as shared with others.
These sessions are mixed level and designed to offer short lectures on what we are doing in yoga and the latest evidence based practise on how we can improve the way that we move. You do not need to be a teacher or therapist to attend these workshops, this is a sharing of the latest findings in the world of biomechanics and yoga related injuries.
Each session is designed to equip practitioners of all levels how to take what is useful to adapt into their own personal practise and teachers will gain insight into how we manage injuries in a class setting.
