Who is this training for?
This 5 Day training is designed for any style yoga 200 hrs teacher training teachers to learn to guide students to unlock tension in poses and use of breath to feel actual shifts inside. This course is also open to faithful yoga practitioners who want to learn how to assist themselves to delve deeper in practice. Especially suited for those wanting to deepen assisting skills. Learn injury prevention from repetitive yoga movements and how to guide structure alignment to avoid compression of spine and joints and improve body and breath awareness in practice.

Course Description
This training will deepen understanding of structural balance in practice and how to touch stu-dents and clients in a healthy way. You will learn and practice guiding techniques how to unlock tension in the body which helps deeper breath in poses and increased neuromuscular connec-tion – learn to move with less struggle and more awareness!
Daily Schedule
9am-9:40am: 4 direction Ceremony and Chanting
9:50am-12pm: Morning Practice
12pm-1:30pm: Break
1:30pm-5:30
Daily Afternoon Schedule
Day 1: B-Series with Vignettes
• Application of Forrest Yoga Basic moves to unlock common tensions in poses
• Practice Breath Formula with Hands on assists
• Learn to tie an intent of the class with assisting
• Learn about common tension places practice releasing in assisting in poses
Day 2: Back Bending
• Optimal structure alignment and how it works in movements
• Neck, Shoulders, Active Hands and Spine connection for optimal function(pain free practice)
• Using Back bend poses to align Neck, Shoulders and Spine in neutral place.
• Practice Hands on Assist skills in modifications and variations with injuries in poses.
Day 3: Standing pose Series
• Repetitive yoga movements and learn muscle group coordination for injury prevention
• Addressing neck and lower back issues in relation with Active feet, Sit Bones engagement and Telescoping Ribs
• Hands on assists unlocking tensions in Neck, Shoulders and Spine in standing poses.
• Learn hardening muscle vs. connecting muscle for endurance of Leg muscles
• Connection between Active Feet and inner and outer legs engagement to support pelvis and spine in movements.
• Practice Hands on Assist skills in modifications and variations with injuries in poses.
Day 4: Back bending
• Optimal structure alignment in Back Bend poses: Relax Neck and Spine, Sits Bones and active Hands and Feet connection
• Working with Habitual tension spots to facilitate deep breathing and open connection between breaths and poses
• Understanding relation between Hip, Spine and Legs for Lower Back issues
Day 5: B-Series with Vignettes
• Spine, Hips, Legs and Active Feet connection for optimal function (using core for being light in transition between movements)
• Learn function of core muscles in movements
• Application for Serrates Anterior and upper Abs and bottom Abs connection in poses and hands on assists ( Arm Balances and Inversions)
• Forrest Yoga Abs and Bandhas in application for accessing core and strengthening
• Holding Abs vs. moving Abs muscle in full inhale and exhale accessing deeper core engage-ment
• Practice Hands on Assist skills in modifications and variations with injuries in poses
**This is an elective 300-hour module. All 300-hour trainees must complete the 4 core modules plus 2 elective modules **
