Thursday, May 27, 5:00 pm – 7.30 pm: Unravelling the Mysteries of Hips, Neck & Shoulders
In this Forrest Yoga session, you learn to create freedom and strength in hip, neck and shoulders. You will learn to safely unlock these habitual tension spots through intensely focused breathwork and asana (including inversions, standing poses and vinyasa). Strengthen and lengthen the muscles around these joints and create space in these areas. This work helps you walk through your life with grace and freedom
Friday, May 28, 5:00 pm – 7.30 pm: Romance Your Spirit with Ceremony & Music Healing
We often live in a way that entraps our Spirit and confines it to a small space within our body. Experience Forrest Yoga meditation exercises, chants, music healing, and a dharma talk to create a safe space for your Spirit to live more freely and fully in your body. You will strengthen your relationship with your Spirit and walk through life as your Spirit dictates. Does your practice brighten or dim your Spirit? Make the choice to brighten up and fascinate in process! Forrest Yoga teaches you to focus your intent on connecting to and Romancing your Spirit. How? By choosing, in the moment, to breathe in a way that brightens you; to do your poses in a way that invites your Spirit to permeate into all of your body. This welcomes your Spirit home. This is a 2.5-hour workshop that includes about 30 minutes of asana.
Saturday, May 29, 10:00 am – 12.30 pm: Building the Warrior Heart
With Forrest Yoga’s heart-opening asanas, you learn to breathe in a way that opens your core and gives the heart the support and counsel of the rest of the primary charkas. Learn to remove the emotional shielding from your heart so it can truly and honestly feel each new experience afresh. This helps your heart and Spirit be more resilient, flexible, and adept at surfing emotional waves. Begin building skill in accessing, cleansing, and resolving emotional issues and move them out of the cell tissue, thus freeing your heart. This makes room for seeing and absorbing the beauty and sweetness in our world, which nourishes the heart.
Sunday, May 30, 10:00 am – 12.30 pm: Gravity Surfing
Fascinated by weightlessness? Then ride the waves of gravity! Gravity Surfing teaches you to change your relationship to gravity. No longer is gravity a drag, but a wave to ride! In this session you will learn the fundamentals of lift-off, moving through the air with grace, and landing with precision and lightness. Ana and Jose will guide you through Forrest Yoga’s core-strengthening poses. Then you apply them to the advanced technique of ‘surfing’ from pose to pose. Unfold and explore a whole new world in your yoga. Amazing and fun.
