DON’T SLAY YOUR DRAGON PART 1: THE ART OF NOT STRIVING SO MUCH

The dragon is a symbol of ancient knowledge, wisdom and connection to the elements. It is important that we are able to connect with our own dragon energy, our deeper knowing and understanding of the interconnectedness of being. But often this energy is severed because we strive so much and spend so much of our time living in our heads.
Through a strong and mindful Forrest Yoga sequence of pranayama, core work, standing poses and back bends, Sandra and Kristi will help you explore the feeling of working, fighting and struggling less. You will open your heart to the possibility of spending more time simply being rather than having to achieve in order to prove your self-worth, in your practice and ultimately in your life.

Sunday, November 29th, 1.30-4.30pm
DON’T SLAY YOUR DRAGON PART 2: THE ART OF EMBRACING YOUR MAGIC

The dragon is also a symbol of a magic we all carry inside of us. We rationalize our lives instead of tolerating the mystery that resides inside of us. To embrace our magic we need to stay in the space of “I don’t know” and develop the patience to wait.
Through a deep Forrest Yoga hip opening sequence, Sandra and Kristi will take you on a journey though the murkiness and into the mystery, where you will learn to create the space for things to unfold organically.
