Eagle eyes; perspectives & pathways out of pain & injury
Course details:
A Forrest Yoga CET by Brian Campbell & Charlie Speller
The goal of this course is to guide teachers to help their students and themselves to work in a pain freeing way.
Pain isn’t only bio-mechanical, and while Brian and Charlie will absolutely guide you through the anatomical and physiological aspects of pain – the muscles, tissues, movements that are associated with the cause of pain; this course importantly delves into the unseen, even ignored reasons for feeling discomfort and pain in the body.
Using Forrest Yoga and the four domains or principles of health: bio-mechanics, bio-chemistry, emotions/psyche and scars as our toolkit, you will experientially “innerstand” how to work with pain.
We will delve into a number of common conditions and injuries and approach them from all four domains so that you can more confidently and creatively sequence yoga classes for anyone you work with who is in pain.
This is an incredible opportunity to dissect pain AND, importantly, work with pain in a holistic way.
Key elements of the course;
