About Corona Virus
What We Are Doing
Our assistants and teachers are continuing to practice utmost cleanliness and washing appropriately before and after each workshop as well as ensuring they are in top health if assisting you.
They have been instructed not to offer hands on assists for the time being.
Props: An effective way of preventing the spread of germs in general is to use your own yoga props. If you have your own mat and props (roll, strap and block), please disinfect them and bring them with you to our workshop or training. We are personally disinfecting our mats and props after every use.
Workshop hosts/venues are required to take extra precautions in cleaning the studios more regularly and disinfecting surfaces several times per day.
What You Can Do
Stay home if you are sick: If you are exhibiting any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, or congestion, please stay home and rest.
Wash your hands: While this is obviously always a good practice, the best way to prevent the spread of this virus is to wash your hands often with soap and hot water for 20 seconds. When you first arrive to the studio and after using the restroom, please wash your hands.
Cover your mouth and nose: If you happen to sneeze or cough (because we all do even when we’re not sick!), please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your elbow (NOT your hand).
About events and teacher trainings :
For the moment, many of Ana and Jose’s events on their US tour have been postponed.
We keep closely monitoring information on the COVID-19 outbreak being broadcast on the pages of the health department from several governments, as well as the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO). We also stay up to date on flight restrictions and cancellations.
If you have registered for a training, we will inform you about any changes through direct email.
If you have questions about your situation, please reach out to: email@example.com
The growing fear and consequences of it in the world are effecting many of you.
It can create huge worry, panic and fog of information in and around us.
We want to remind you, that you have the choice to breathe deeply, connect to your body and get grounded with active feet.
We are in a situation, where you can practice “off the mat” yoga, by keeping your spirit alive and strong, choosing practicality and common sense upon fear and retreat. Breathing, practicing yoga, coming together as a community (in a safe and hygenic way) and focusing on our strength and health can benefit our immune system tremendously.
Ana and Jose are dedicated to meet you in the sacred gatherings that Forrest Yoga workshops are and to bring their healing tools to you especially in these times, where we all need it to the most.
